England Announced A 15-Man Squad For The Two-Match Test Tour Of NZ in February, with Stuart Broad, Matthew Potts, Dan Lawrence and Ollie Stone back in the squad and Mark Wood rested.
Recalled to England’s Test squad:-
Stuart Broad has been recalled to the England Test squad following the birth of his first child, while Matt Potts and Dan Lawrence are also back in the set-up for the two-Test tour of New Zealand in February.

Potts, who made his Test debut in the first match of the summer of 2022, also impressed with his 20 wickets at 28.00 in the first five matches under the captaincy of Ben Stokes, against New Zealand at Lord’s.
However, he did not feature in the final two matches of the summer against South Africa following the return of Ollie Robinson, and was a surprise omission from the England squad to tour Pakistan.
Lawrence is back in the set-up for the first time:-
Meanwhile, Lawrence is back in the set-up for the first time since the Caribbean tour last March, where his spirited batting performances, including scores of 91 and 41 in Barbados, proved to be an early indication of the team’s future.
He suffered a drop in form for Essex in 2022, which was exacerbated by a pair of hamstring injuries.
England’s 18-year-old match-winner in Karachi last week, Rehan Ahmed, has not been included in the squad as part of their management for the winter.
The Gearing up for Gulf Giants at ILT20 in UAE in January:-
Instead he is set to play for the Gulf Giants in the ILT20 in the UAE in January, and could also be in the frame for the Bangladesh white-ball tour.
Four members of the squad will fly straight to New Zealand from South Africa, including Harry Brook, who was signing for big money in the IPL auction this morning.
Ben Duckett and Stone will also be playing in the three-match white-ball series against South Africa, while Will Jacks will feature in the longer SA20 side.
