England announced the T20I squad for the India tour

England announced their 16-player T20I squad for the men’s International Twenty20 matches in India which will start from March 12 to March 20.

The Eoin Morgan-led squad comprises Jos Buttler, who returned home following the first Test of the series in Chennai, as well as Jonny Bairstow and Mark Wood, both of whom were rested for the first leg of the Tests in India. 

Jonny Bairstow and Mark Wood, who was rested from the ongoing Chennai leg of England’s tour of India, are back in the squad.

Liam Livingstone has been recalled to England’s T20I squad for their five-match series against India next month

England Men’s T20I Squad:

Eoin Morgan (captain), Moeen, Jofra Archer, Jonathan Bairstow, Sam Billings, Jos Buttler, Sam Curran, Tom Curran, Chris Jordan, Liam Livingstone, Dawid Malan, Adil Rashid, Jason Roy, Ben Stokes, Reece Topley, Mark Wood.

Reserves:

Jake Ball, Matt Parkinson.

Friday 12 March: 1st T20I, Sardar Patel Stadium, Ahmedabad

Sunday 14 March: 2nd T20I, Sardar Patel Stadium, Ahmedabad

Tuesday 16 March: 3rd T20I, Sardar Patel Stadium, Ahmedabad

Thursday 18 March: 4th IT20, Sardar Patel Stadium, Ahmedabad
