Morgan may announce his retirement from international cricket this week. Morgan has been battling poor form for some time now. It is believed that Jos Buttler can be given the command of England’s ODI and T20 team in place of Morgan.

Morgan’s poor form is a headache for England;-

While the English batsmen made a lot of runs on the tour of Netherlands, Morgan could not even open the account in two matches of the series. Morgan has scored just two fifties in his last 28 international matches.

Eoin Morgan said this on Skysports :-

Before the Netherlands series, Morgan said on SkySports, ‘If I feel that I am not doing well and I am not able to contribute to the team, then I will end it.’

Morgan made the captain of the ODI team at the time of the 2015 World Cup. Recently, there have been changes in the Test team of England. Ben Stokes named captain in place of Joe Root.
