IPL 2024: England fast bowler Reece Topley refuses to play in PSL 2024, signs for MI Emirates in ILT20. Reece Topley has joined MI at Emirates ahead of the ILT20 knockout on Tuesday, February 13.

The announcement came after Topley was ruled out of the Pakistan Super League 2024. MI Emirates also signed Sri Lankan batsman Bhanuka Rapaksa along with USA wicketkeeper-batsman Monank Patel ahead of the Qualifier 1 match.

Topley and Monank joined the team in place of Fazalhaq Faruqi and Corey Anderson. Meanwhile, Rajapaksa joined the team as the second wild-card entry of the season.

The England and Wales Cricket Board reportedly refused to grant NOC to Topley to participate in the PSL. This dealt a big blow to Multan Sultans and the 29-year-old player was ruled out of the entire tournament.
