IPL 2022: Injured England all-rounder Sam Curran said – The decision to withdraw from the IPL auction was right.

A Disappointed not to Play at this Convention:-

England all-rounder Sam Curran, who is recovering from a back injury, said that he is disappointed that he could not play in this session of the Indian Premier League.

But he feels that his determination to withdraw from the auction (IPL Auction 2022) was right.

Karan said that it might have been too early for him to come back as he is recovering from the most serious injury of his career.

Sam Curran Told ‘ESPNcricinfo’:-

IPL 2022: Karan (Sam Curran), who played for Chennai Super Kings, told ESPNcricinfo, “I am disappointed that I am not playing.

It is disappointing to watch the Indian Premier League sitting at home. I wanted to participate in the auction (IPL Auction 2022),

But in the end, I didn’t, which was probably the best determination. Looking back, IPL might have been a bit early.

IPL 2022: The 23-year-old left-arm medium-pacer suffered a ‘stress fracture’ in his lower back during the second leg of the IPL in October last year.

I Want To Go Back To IPL:-

“I definitely want to go back to the IPL at some stage because you learn a lot about your T20 game there.

This is a tournament where you only talk and learn about cricket. If you go to breakfast in the morning, you are sitting with the superstar and talking about the game.

IPL 2022: He looks to do well in the County Championship opening match against Warwickshire at Edgbaston next week.

While his focus will be on finding his place in the squad for the Test series against New Zealand in June and the T20 World Cup in Australia in October.
