England’s Star Bowler James Anderson May Announce Retirement. Is England cricket legend James Anderson hanging up his boots this summer? That’s the big question buzzing around the cricketing world right now.

There’s Been A Chat Between Anderson:-

Apparently, there’s been a chat between Anderson and England’s test coach, Brendon McCullum (according to The Guardian).

McCullum even flew all the way from New Zealand to meet Jimmy in person! Looks like the English management is having some serious talks about his future.

The Dude’s Already A Legend:-

This isn’t the first time retirement rumors have swirled around Jimmy A. The dude’s already a legend, you know? He became the THIRD bowler EVER to grab a whopping 700 test wickets during the India tour earlier this year. Plus, he’s 41 years old – 42 in July! England’s got a three-match series against the West Indies then.

But Here’s The Twist:

Some whispers say he might call it quits after the three-match series against Sri Lanka. That series kicks off at his home ground, Emirates Old Trafford.

Think Jimmy might play his last test ever on his own turf?

We’ll have to wait and see. One thing’s for sure, though – cricket won’t be the same without Jimmy.
