Fast Bowler Deepak Chahar Gave A Big Update On His Fitness

Deepak Chahar Injury: India’s T20 fast bowler Deepak Chahar has given a big update on his fitness, it will take another four to five weeks for Chahar to fully recover from a hamstring injury.

Squad for limited-overs tour of England:-

He was ruling out the entire Indian Premier League (IPL) season due to this injury. This means that he will not be included in the squad (India vs England 2022 Squad) for the limited-overs tour of England.

Washington Sundar recovering from a hand injury:-

Chahar and another centrally contracted cricketer Washington Sundar are recovering from a hand injury. Both these players are undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) along with T Natarajan.

Washington was ready to go to England to represent:-

Spin all-rounder, Washington is getting to travel to England to represent England’s county side Lancashire.

A BCCI source told PTI on condition of anonymity – Washington is close to achieving full fitness and will need to spend time on the field to regain momentum.

Which he will get only in red-ball cricket. He is going to play for Lancashire. This will keep him in better shape.
