Pakistan Cricket Team Chief Selector: Former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi will be the new Chief Selector of the Pakistan team. Amidst the ongoing turmoil in the Pakistan Cricket Board, former cricketer Abdul Razzaq has claimed that there is a ‘possibility’ of appointing former captain Shahid Afridi as the next Chief Selector by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Afridi is The New Main Selector Of The Pakistan Cricket Team:-
Expressing his views on the Geo News program “Harna Mana Hai”, Razzaq claimed that Afridi can replace Inzamam Ul Haq as the new main selector of the Pakistan cricket team.

The post of chief selector has been vacant since Inzamam’s resignation on October 30 following “allegations of conflict of interest” leveled against him after it was revealed that he was a partner in a player management company.
The Represents Many Prominent Cricketers Of Pakistan:-
It was revealed that the former cricketer owned shares in a company owned by players’ agent Talha Rahmani. Who represents many of Pakistan’s leading cricketers including Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi.
Criticizing these events, Razzaq had said that if Inzamam was not involving in the company. He should have stayed and allowed the investigation to continue.
Inzamam ul Haq Should Not Have Resigned:-
He said, “From my point of view Inzamam ul Haq should not have resigned. A person resigns when he is guilty.”
Razzaq’s comments on the future of the chief selector’s post come. As Afridi met Acting Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakkar on Thursday. After being approached by the Prime Minister for a key role in the cricket board.
