The company is not paying the money even after repeated notices from BCCI. Let us tell you what is the whole matter. How BCCI got trapped in Byjus’ trap and now Rs 158 crore is at stake.

BCCI has given 2 weeks to Byju’s to pay the money. If Byju does not pay the money even after this deadline, then legal action will be taken. According to the report of Moneycontrol, this matter came to light only on September 8 this year.

The Hearing in This Case is Scheduled To Be Held On December 22:-

But this case was officially registered on 15 November. The hearing regarding this matter was going to be held between BCCI and Byju’s Parent Company Think and Learn Private Limited on the 28th of last month, but now the hearing in this matter is going to be held on the 22nd of December.

These Contracts Were To Be Renewed Again in 2023:-

Let us tell you that Byju’s has entered into a branding partnership with BCCI, ICC, and FIFA. These contracts were to be renewed again in 2023, but the company refused to renew the contracts.

After this, ED issued a show cause notice against Think and Learn Private Limited and Byju in the FEMA Violation case.
