According to the report of Indian Express, fake applications have come in the names of Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Sachin Tendulkar, and MS Dhoni. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has received more than 3,000 applicants for the post of head coach.

Many Applications in The Names Of Sehwag And Other Former Cricketers

Applications for the post of head coach could be made till May 27. According to the report, BCCI received several applications in the names of Tendulkar, Dhoni, Harbhajan Singh, Virender Sehwag and other former cricketers.

The names of politicians like Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah are also included in this list.

This is not the first time that Indian boards have received fake applications. Even in 2022, when BCCI had invited applications for head coach. Then he received many applications in the name of celebrities.

Candidates Were Asked To Mail Their Applications

The board then asked interested candidates to mail their applications, this time BCCI used Google Forms.
