GT vs RR: Wriddhiman Saha did not tell Eden Gardens his home ground, the sourness between Wriddhiman Saha and the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) is not hidden from anyone.
Home Gound refused to accept:-
Indian wicket-keeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha, who has played cricket for Bengal for a long time, has now refused to consider Kolkata’s Eden Gardens as his home ground.

He has described Motera Stadium in Gujarat as his home ground. The wicketkeeper, representing Gujarat Titans in the IPL, scored a century in his debut Ranji match in 2007.
Before Qualifier-1 of IPL 2022, Saha said that his new home ground is not Eden Gardens in Kolkata, but Motera Stadium in Gujarat. Saha played his debut Ranji match in 2007 for Bengal at this ground.
A Decided not to represent Bengal:-
Saha also scored a century in this match. But due to disputes with CAB officials for some time now, he has decided not to represent Bengal.
GT vs RR: After a CAB official questioned Saha’s role for the Bengal Ranji team, he made up his mind to leave Bengal in domestic cricket.
According to media reports, Saha is upset that CAB assistant secretary Devvrat Das had questioned his commitment after he pulled out of the Ranji League stage.
However, without Saha’s consent, he was selected for the state team for the Ranji Trophy quarter-final match against Jharkhand.
Saha believes that the state union has not supported him during his difficult times. He has verbally demanded NOC from CAB to leave Bengal.
‘Eden is not my home ground’:-
In the virtual press conference before the playoff matches of the 15th season of IPL, Saha said, ‘I am representing Gujarat here, so my home ground is Motera Stadium.
I am no longer with Kolkata Knight Riders. So Eden is not my home ground. Saha has performed brilliantly in IPL 2022. The Gujarat Titans opener has scored 312 runs with the help of three half-centuries.

GT vs RR: On not being selected for the Test match against England, Saha said that, for me, the team is always first and individual performance later. I am not thinking of selection in the Indian team because we have come here to play the qualifier match.
All our focus is on this match. My main aim has always been to contribute to batting and wicketkeeping. A personal achievement like a half-century or a century is like a bonus.
