Happy Birthday Indian Former Cricketer Anil Kumble. Anil one of the most successful bowlers of Team India was born on 17 October 1970 in Bangalore. Kumble, who was also the coach of Team India, has also captained the Test team.

The ground against Pakistan was Delhi’s Feroz Shah Kotla, on this ground history was created on 7 February 1999, when the Pakistan team was piled up by the same bowler from India.
This record has not been broken till date and there is no possibility that any bowler can break this record even further.
Kumble once came out to bowl with a broken jaw when needed and it shows the extent which his dedication towards cricket. Kumble has the most number of Test wickets from India.

Only two players have a record of scoring more than 500 wickets and more than 2000 runs in Test cricket. First Shane Warne of Australia and second Anil Kumble.
At present, R Ashwin seems to be such a player from India, who might be able to break the record of Kumble.
Kumble is the only Indian and only second bowler in the world to take all 10 wickets in a Test inning. Kumble did this feat against Pakistan in 1999 at the Feroz Shah Kotla ground in Delhi.
Kumble has taken 619 Test wickets, which is the most Test wickets taken by any Indian. Overall he is at number three and only Muttiah Muralitharan and Shane Warne are ahead of him. Apart from this, he has taken a total of 956 international wickets.
Kumble created history for India:-
Anil Kumble took 4 wickets for India in the first innings. After a lead of 80 runs, India scored 339 runs in the second innings and set a target of 420 runs in front of Pakistan.
In response, Shahid Afridi and Saeed Anwar gave a strong start to Pakistan. Both added 101 runs for the first wicket.
Anil Kumble got the first wicket. After this, the wickets were flung and one after the other the Pakistani batsmen went to the pavilion.
It was a coincidence that Anil Kumble was getting every single wicket. In such a situation, Captain Mohammad Azharuddin kept Anil Kumble engaged from one end.
Meanwhile, history was made because all the batsmen of Pakistan were dismissed by Anil Kumble alone.
Pakistan’s team was bundled out for 207 runs and India won the match by 212 runs. On the basis of this, India also leveled the two-match Test series by 1-1.

Leg spinner Anil Kumble bowled 24.3 overs in the first innings, in which he bowled 4 overs maiden and took 4 wickets for 75 runs.
At the same time, in the second innings, Anil Kumble bowling 26.3 overs. In which 9 overs were maiden, and sent 10 Pakistan batsmen to the pavilion for 74 runs.
