Happy Birthday New Zealand Cricketer Martin Guptill. His full name is Martin James Guptill, Martin was born on 30 September 1986 in Auckland, New Zealand, nicknamed Two Toes. Martin Guptill is celebrating his 36th birthday today.
The fifth cricketer to score a double century in a match:-
He is a New Zealand international cricketer who plays as an opener in the limited-overs format of the game. His batting style is right-handed, his bowling style is right-arm off-break and Guptill’s height is 6 ft 2 in (1.88 m).
Guptill is the first New Zealand cricketer and the fifth cricketer to score a double century in One Day Internationals and the current record for the highest individual score in Cricket World Cup matches and the second highest score in One Day Internationals of 237. not out.
Guptill played his 100th T20I match on March 2021, Guptill scored more than 600 T20I runs at the Eden Park Cricket Stadium. He is the first and only player to score more than 500 and 600 T20I runs at the same venue.
His Personal Life:-
Guptill was born in 1986 in Auckland. He attended Kelston Primary and Kelston Boys High School before transferring to Avondale College, where he played cricket and was perfect.

His wife is journalist and reporter Laura McGoldrick, while his cousin Michael Guptill-Bans has also played cricket for Auckland.
Guptill has only two toes on his left foot. At the age of 13, he was involved in a forklift accident and lost three toes.
He was nicknaming “Two Toes” on the New Zealand cricket team. He studied for 4 years at Kelston Boys High School and entered Avondale College in his final year of secondary school.
Martin’s Domestic And T20 Cricket:-
Guptill plays in domestic club cricket for Auckland and suburb New Lynn. He made his first-class debut in March 2006.
He scored zero runs in four balls in his first innings and 99 runs in the second innings. In 2011, Guptill played English county cricket for Derbyshire County Cricket Club during the second half of the season.
Guptill played for Mumbai Indians in the 2016 Indian Premier League as a replacement for the injured Lendl Simmons and for Kings XI Punjab in the 2017 Indian Premier League.
Martin was buying by Sunrisers Hyderabad in the player auction for the 2019 Indian Premier League.
In July 2019, he was selecting to play for Edinburgh Rocks in the inaugural edition of the Euro T20 Slam cricket tournament.
However, the tournament was canceling the following month. He was releasing by Sunrisers Hyderabad ahead of the 2020 IPL auction.
