He constantly remains in some controversy or the other. Recently, when he suddenly left Gujarat Titans and came back to Mumbai Indians and the captaincy was snatched from Rohit and he was made the captain of Mumbai, there were many controversies over this too.

There was an uproar on social media and an atmosphere of Rohit vs Hardik was created. But now before IPL 2024, Hardik Pandya is caught in a new controversy. Now he is being accused of breaking BCCI rules.

Let us tell you that Hardik has not played cricket for the last 5 months. He was out of the ODI World Cup 2023 and has been out since then. Now that IPL 2024 is near, he has started showing himself fit.

Meanwhile, before the IPL, he came to play in a special tournament of Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA). When Hardik came out to bat while playing for the Reliance team, he was accused of breaking a BCCI rule.

Which Rule Did Hardik Break?

When Hardik Pandya came out to bat in the DY Patil tournament, his helmet had the BCCI logo on it and the tricolor was below it. However, according to BCCI rules, no player can use the BCCI logo in any domestic tournament.

This logo is used only when the player gets a chance to play in the team selected by BCCI. You cannot use helmets with the BCCI logo in any Under 19 domestic tournament, Ranji, Syed Mushtaq, or anywhere else.

We are not saying this but BCCI rules say this. Now Hardik has broken this rule and he will get into some trouble in the future, whether any action is taken against him or not, remains to be seen.

Hardik Becomes Fit To Play IPL:-

Even before this, Hardik Pandya was suddenly injured and ruled out after T20 World Cup 2021. Then he returned directly before the IPL. There also he came to play as captain for Gujarat Titans.

Now the same thing has happened this time. Hardik was out since the ODI World Cup. He does not play Test matches but in the meantime, he also did not play T20 series and ODI series.
