IND vs NZ T20s 2022: Hardik Pandya said- “Get over the disappointment of T20 World Cup and move forward”. Captain Hardik Pandya addressed his team and the media for the first time in New Zealand on Wednesday.

During this, he gave a message to his team that let’s move on from the T20 World Cup 2022 defeat. India had to face defeat to England in the second semi-final of the T20 World Cup.

That’s why Hardik wants that he and his team (Team India) should now concentrate on the series against New Zealand (IND vs NZ). On the other hand, India will play its first T20 match against New Zealand in Wellington on Friday.

Also, the team’s senior players KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma are not playing in this series, due to which the leadership of the team is on the shoulders of Hardik Pandya in their absence.
During this, Hardik Pandya said, “T20 World Cup was disappointing, but we are professionals. We need to deal with it the way we deal with our success and move forward,” Hardik told the media before the first match.
He further said that the roadmap for the T20 World Cup 2024 has started but the focus right now is that the team should enjoy cricket in New Zealand.

The Indian all-rounder said that New Zealand have been a great team over the years. “They have always performed and challenged you as a team,” he added.
Hardik said that this series will be a good opportunity for the youngsters to prove their worth in the team and perform well.
The Men in Blue will practice at the Basin Reserve, Wellington from 2 pm to 5 pm local time.
After the World T20 in Australia, India is on a New Zealand tour for a limited-overs series consisting of three T20s and as many ODIs.

The series will be held from November 18 to 30 and New Zealand will return to India for the white-ball series in January next year.
