He is fully fit and is also available for the three-match T20 series. So he will be the captain.” The report further states that Shubman Gill or Suryakumar Yadav can be the vice-captain in the T20 series against Sri Lanka.

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has clearly said that all-star cricketers will also have to play domestic cricket if they do not play international cricket. However, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Jasprit Bumrah have been exempted.
