INDW vs AUSW 2023: Harmanpreet Kaur Wept Bitterly Hugging Anjum Chopra After The Defeat. India lost the match by five runs in a closely contested match.
Cried after the defeat against Australia:-
India captain Harmanpreet Kaur broke down in tears after the defeat against Australia in the Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 semi-final (INDW vs AUSW) at Newlands on Thursday.

The match took a turn after the unfortunate run-out of the Indian captain. Her bat got caught in the pitch and she could not complete the run.
Harmanpreet led from the front:-
Despite not being physically 100 per cent, Harmanpreet led from the front and played a brilliant 34-ball 52.
Harmanpreet was in tears after the defeat and former India captain Anjum Chopra was seen consoling her.
When asked about what Anjum Chopra told Harmanpreet, she said, “My intention was to give some sympathy to the captain as that is what I can offer from outside.”
India has reached the semi-finals many times:-
The former cricket-turned-commentator said, “It was an emotional moment for both of us, India have reached semi-finals many times and lost many times.
This is not the first time I have seen him playing like this, I have also seen him struggling with injuries and his health.

Chopra further added, “Today she may not have played but because it was a World Cup semi-final and she is such a player who does not back down but moves forward, she did that.”
