ICC Cricket Rules 2022: If a batsman is caught out, and the player who played the shot crosses half the crease before the catch is taken, then the new batsman to come goes on non-strike.

That is, the next ball is faced by the batsman who was standing at the non-striking end. But now there will be a change in this (Law 18.11).

In this situation, the new batsman coming now will come on strike, that is, he will face the next ball.

Yes, but the ball with the wicket should not be the last ball of the over. In this situation, the first ball of the next over will be played by the non-striker batsman.

Saliva is now banned (Law 41.3):-

The use of saliva was banned in cricket played after the Corona epidemic, in order to reduce the risk of spreading the infection.

The MCC has found that in addition, the bowlers get a swing, that is, it has no effect on the swing.

After the use of sweat, the ball was getting swing. Now there will be a ban on applying saliva on the ball.

The Law of Dead Ball (Law 20.4.2.12):-

If there is any harm to any person, animal, or any other reason on the field, then this dead ball will be given. We have seen that sometimes a person comes running on the field, sometimes an animal or bird affects the match. If there is any damage to any side on this, the umpire will indicate it as a dead ball.

The Run out by bowler (Law 21.4)

If the bowler throws the ball to run out the striker before coming to his stride, it will now be called a dead ball. According to the current rule, it is called a no-ball.

The Playing on a ball falling off the Pitch (Law 25.8):-

If a ball falls off the pitch, then under the new rule (25.8) it will also be allowing to play a shot on the ball. But the batsman’s bat or part of his body remains inside the pitch.

If he overtakes it, the umpire will call it a dead ball. Any ball on which the batsman is compelling to leave the pitch and play a shot will be awarding a no-ball.
