ICC T20 Rankings 2023: Tilak Verma entered the ICC rankings for the first time in his career. Verma has emerged as a star of Indian cricket since the tour of West Indies.

Verma, who made his debut in the first T20 match against the West Indies, has entered the ICC rankings for the first time in his career after three consecutive top-notch performances.

Apart from this, the T20 ranking of Kuldeep Yadav has also improved. Verma will be hoping to continue his form in the last two matches of the series.

After his first three matches for India in the T20I format, Verma has the joint-highest runs as a debutant and has entered the ICC rankings at 46th position.

Made a quantum jump of 36 places in the ICC T20I rankings:-

On the other hand, Kuldeep Yadav, India’s best spinner in the West Indies tour, has made a massive jump of 36 places in the ICC T20I rankings after his impressive performances in the first and third T20I matches.

Kuldeep is now ranked 51st and is expected to move up in the rankings after the series. The player also bowled brilliantly in the ODI series, helping India win the bilateral series by a margin of 2-1.

“India’s youngster Tilak Verma has moved up to 46th position in the rankings for batsmen after an impressive start to his international career,” said a release issued by the ICC.

Kuldeep in the list of bowlers from the team’s point of view:-

Yadav (up 36 places to 51st) is the most eye-catching player in the bowlers’ list from the Asian team’s point of view.

Suryakumar Yadav retained the number one position in the ICC T20 rankings. He is followed by Pakistan’s wicket-keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan. Mohammad Rizwan occupies the second position in the ICC T20 rankings.

The Pakistani wicket-keeper batsman has 811 rating points. In this way, there is a gap of about 100 rating points between Mohammad Rizwan and Suryakumar Yadav.

While Pakistani captain Babar Azam is at number three in the rankings. Babar Azam has 756 rating points. Suryakumar Yadav is the only Indian batsman in the ICC T20 rankings.
