ICC T20 WC 2022: Namibia Announce Squad For ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, Relying on the experience of its 16-man squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup to be held in Australia.

Several impressive performers from the 2021 edition of the tournament have been retained as Namibia will look to repeat their performances from the UAE in Australia.
Namibia impressed one and all in 2021, exiting a tough group in Round 1 that included Sri Lanka, the Netherlands, and Ireland for a place in the Super 12 stage of the tournament.

Several prominent names from that historic performance were retaining in the squad, as well as some who will make their World Cup debuts.
Captain Erasmus can bank on the likes of JJ Smit, Stephen Byrd, Jan Frylink, Nicole Lofty Eaton, Ruben Trumpelman, and David Wiese, who were team members of the campaign in 2021.
Namibia has also added some new names to the squad, who will make their T20 World Cup debuts. Wicketkeeper-batsman Lohan Louvrance, batsman Dewan La Cock, and pacer Tangeni Lungmeni are the three names in the squad that will be participating in the marquee tournament for the first time.
The Netherlands on 8 October and UAE on 20 October
Namibia was clubbing with Sri Lanka, the Netherlands, and the UAE in Group A of the Round 1 stage of the 2022 tournament.
He will start his campaign against Sri Lanka on 16 October at Kardinia Park in Geelong. They will face the Netherlands on 18 October and the UAE on 20 October on the same ground.
