ICC Test Cricketer of the Year 2022: Ben Stokes is at the forefront of the race for Test Cricketer of the Year. At the end of the year 2022, the ICC Awards 2022 has also started the process of awarding the players.
ICC released the nominations for the awards:-
The ICC has today released the nominations for the awards to be given to the players who performed brilliantly in Test cricket in the year 2022 (ICC Awards Nomination).

Ben Stokes is at the top of the four best players released by the ICC. Stokes competes with Johnny Bairstow of his own country.
Not a single Indian player got a Place in this list:-
Apart from Ben Stokes, the ICC has also nominated Johnny Bairstow, Usman Khawaja, and Kagiso Rabada. Not a single Indian player has got a place in this list.
Ben Stokes has changed the fortunes of England Test cricket in 2022 along with Brendon McCullum. The England team, which was struggling badly in Test cricket, performed brilliantly under the captaincy of Ben Stokes.
His inspirational leadership has created a confident offensive unit in the team now. Within his tenure in the year 2022, the team has won nine out of 10 Test matches. Stokes has repeatedly asked players to overcome the fear of failure.
Ben has scored two centuries and four half-centuries:-
Stokes has had a good year with both bat and ball. During this, he has scored 870 runs, two centuries, and four half-centuries and has also taken 26 wickets at an average of 31.19.
