On Wednesday, the ICC released the latest rankings, in which Marnus Labushanya became the new No. 1 batsman. Earlier he was in second place. Joe Root has slipped from the first position to the fourth position.

Steve Smith has also gained in the rankings, Babar Azam was earlier also at number three and there is no loss in his position in the new rankings.
Marnus Labushnaya has 935 rating points. Steve Smith has come in second place with 893 rating points.
Indian wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant is also unharmed, he is still in fifth position.
