ICC Women’s Player Of The Month Nominations Announced For July 2022, featuring two English stars and India’s in-form captain.

England opener Emma Lamb:-

The New England opener lit up the One Day International series against South Africa, making huge contributions in all three matches.

Lamb scored his maiden century in the opening match of the series, scoring 102 off 97 balls as the home team chased down the target with ease.

He followed up his century with two more half-centuries, scoring 67 off 65 in the second ODI and 65 off 66 balls in the third, playing a major role in England’s series sweep.

While the 24-year-old’s lead role was with the bat, he also turned his hand in all three matches, ending the series on a high with 3/42.

Renuka Singh Thakur of India:-

July was a memorable month for India’s Renuka Singh Thakur, taking 12 wickets in just 5 matches.

Renuka helped India complete a 3-0 whitewash against Sri Lanka, in which the right-arm pacer finished as the highest wicket-taker in three matches with 7 scalps.

She started the series brilliantly with figures of 3/29 in the first ODI to help Sri Lanka restrict themselves to 171.

England star Nat Sciver:-

The England star carried on his strong form in July, making substantial contributions. With the bat during ODI and T20I series wins over South Africa.

Sciver hit back-to-back half-centuries in ODIs, helping England dominate both matches. And his 84 runs in the T20I series were seriously affected.

The all-rounder was also working with the ball, his standout performance in the first ODI with figures of 4/59.

His quick innings of three clean overs and 17 runs also cemented the start of her Commonwealth Games campaign. As July ended well for the England legend.
