ICC World Cup 2023: The ODI World Cup is to be held in India later this year. Eight teams have qualified for this mega event (ICC World Cup Qualifier Teams). South Africa became the eighth team to qualify for the 2023 World Cup. This time a total of 10 teams will participate in the ODI World Cup, in which qualifier matches will be organized among 10 teams for the remaining 2 places. In this, whichever 2 teams will be able to make their place in the top 2.

Talking about the eight teams that qualified for the ODI World Cup, India, who had the right to host it, got a ladder entry under the rules. Apart from this, teams from New Zealand, England, Bangladesh, Pakistan Australia, Afghanistan, and South Africa are included.

The qualifier round for 2 places will be played between these 10 teams

This year 10 teams will participate in the ODI World Cup. As of now, the names of eight teams have been decided and a qualifier round will be played in June to fill the remaining two teams. Ten teams will battle it out to seal a spot in the qualifier tournament. The 2 big teams that are included in these 10 teams are Sri Lanka and West Indies. Apart from these two, teams from Zimbabwe, Netherlands, Oman, UAE, Ireland, Nepal, Scotland, and America are included.
