IND vs AUS 1st Test: The first Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia will be played in Nagpur from 9 February. Both teams are preparing fiercely for the first test. Meanwhile, BCCI has called Washington Sundar and Saurabh Kumar as net bowlers in Nagpur to give Rohit Sharma’s team practice of spin bowling.

The BCCI has recalled Washington Sundar and Saurabh Kumar to help India prepare for the Border Gavaskar Trophy. The Indian team is currently training at the old VCA Stadium in Nagpur, and Sundar and Saurabh have now joined the squad along with Sai Kishore and Rahul Chahar.

With Mohammed Siraj, Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav, and Jaydev Unadkat in the squad, the BCCI has not included any more pacers. However, some local net bowlers have been employed in the nets. The Indian team currently has 8 spinners to practice with if the surface of the pitch supports spin bowling.

Ravindra Jadeja’s return

The squad already has four quality spinners. Ravindra Jadeja makes a comeback, while Ravichandran Ashwin, Kuldeep Yadav, and Akshar Patel are all part of the squad. Of these, only three are being seen in the playing XI of the Nagpur Test.
