IND vs AUS Test Series 2023: The BCCI Shifts Rohit And Team’s Pre-Series Test Camp To Nagpur. Jadeja and KL Rahul will join the team on February 2.

The Organized mini-camp for Players in Mumbai:-

Small camps have been organized in Mumbai for Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, and other Indian players before the India and Australia series (IND vs AUS Test Series) starting next month.

At the same time, the first Test will be played between the two teams on 9 February. But before that a short break has been given to the senior players of the team.

After which all the players will assemble in Mumbai for a 4-5 day camp to be held in Nagpur. However, the Australian team led by Pat Cummins will camp in Bangalore.

A senior BCCI official told, “Rohit and the Test players will assemble in Mumbai before the series. They will have a camp under the leadership of Rahul.

He will join the team after finishing the T20 series against New Zealand. It is a fitness camp but before playing the Test series, it will be a good opportunity to practice with the red ball.”

KL Rahul and Jadeja will Join the team:-

Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Mohammed Shami, and Mohammed Siraj are on a week’s break after winning the ODI series against New Zealand. They have returned home and will assemble in Mumbai before going to Nagpur.

While KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja will join the team on February 2. While KL Rahul will return from a holiday after his marriage, Jadeja is scheduled to undergo a fitness test on February 1.

IND vs AUS Test Series: Jasprit Bumrah is unlikely to be fit for the entire Test series against Australia.

He is still in rehabilitation due to his back injury. While the selectors have not given him a place in the team for the first two Tests against Australia.

The 100 Percent for the series against Australia:-

A top BCCI official told Sport, “It is unlikely that Jasprit Bumrah will give his 100 percent for the series against Australia.

One thing is certain that whatever series we play, he will not come back again. Back injuries take time and the rehabilitation response is going to be a long one.

He is unfit for selection at the moment and how long it will take him to make a comeback is still questionable.”

IND vs AUS Test Series: On the other hand, on Tuesday, Indian captain Rohit Sharma also did not show any hope of Bumrah’s return. He said that the team management is in constant touch with the medical team of NCA and BCCI regarding Bumrah.
