Because wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant has joined Team India for this match and he has also started practicing in the nets.

This means that Pant has recovered from his back injury and will be available for selection.
At the same time, KL Rahul will lead the team in place of the injured Rohit Sharma in this 2-match Test series.
These three players were out due to injury:-
Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami have been ruled out of the Test series against Bangladesh. But this time Rohit Sharma is expected to be fit for the second Test.
But the final decision has not been taken by the BCCI yet. While talking about Rishabh Pant, the batsman did not play in the 3-match ODI series against Bangladesh earlier this month.
