IND vs BAN ODI 2022: Rishabh Pant out of three-match ODI series due to injury. The first ODI match is being played between India and Bangladesh (IND vs BAN), but before that the BCCI surprised everyone.
Dropped for 3-match ODI series:-
Things keep getting worse for Rishabh Pant. After a flop show with the bat in New Zealand, a back injury ruled Pant out for the 3-match ODI series against Bangladesh.

Due to this he has been released from the ODI team and will not take any further part in the series. However, Team India continues to be plagued by injuries to its players, the result of which was first seen in the Asia Cup and then in the T20 World Cup as well.
In the recently concluded ODI series against New Zealand, Rishabh Pant scored only 10 runs in one match and 15 runs in the other. He proved to be a flop in the entire series.
He faced a lot of criticism:-
Not only this, he had to face a lot of criticism due to his performance in the Asia Cup and T20 World Cup before.
Despite this, he was included in the team for the tour of Bangladesh, but now he was suddenly released from the team before the start of the match.
At present, even though the BCCI has not told the reason for Pant’s release from the ODI series, it is clear that if Pant has to return to ODIs now, he will have to return to his form.
Team India has been struggling with injured players for a long time:-
If he returns to his form, then he can save his place in the 2023 World Cup. It is not that only Pant has been injured in recent times. But Team India has been struggling with injured players for a long time.
Due to injury, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is already out. And then in his place where there were hopes for Mohammed Shami. He also got injured and is out of the series against Bangladesh.
And after all this, suddenly, just before the start of the series. Pant was also injured and released from the ODI series.
The board issued a statement saying that on the advice of the BCCI medical team. Pant has been released from the ODI team.

He will join the team for the Test series. No replacement has been announced for him while Akshar Patel was not available for the first ODI.
