Earlier in the series against New Zealand, England had won three consecutive matches. The way England played against India and New Zealand under Ben Stokes is writing a new definition of Test cricket. Stokes himself has said the same thing against India.

Now England’s team often scores more than 300 or close to 400, which is very difficult for the batsmen of the opposition team to chase.
