IND vs ENG: Ashwin hit by Corona, missed the flight to England
IND vs ENG: India’s senior off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has been hit by Corona. Due to this, he could not accompany his teammates to England for the fifth Test.

BCCI gave information, Ashwin is currently in Quarantine :-
BCCI informed that Ashwin is currently in quarantine and will join the team only after fulfilling all protocol requirements.
IND vs ENG: May be fine before the test match starting from July 1 :-
A BCCI source said that Ashwin has not accompanied the team to the UK as he underwent a Kovid-19 test before leaving, in which he was found infected. But it is expected that he will recover before the Test match starting on July 1.

India will play four-day warm-up match against Leicestershire county team :-
IND vs ENG: Barring coach Rahul Dravid, captain Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer, all the players had reached London on June 16. At the same time, Rohit reached London on 18 June. Now all the players have reached Leicestershire. Here Team India will play a four-day warm-up match against the county team Leicestershire from June 24. Coaches Dravid, Shreyas and Pant arrived in Leicester on Monday.
Team India will play a 3-match T20I series against England after the conclusion of the Test, and thereafter, an ODI series of as many games. Before that, however, they have a practise game scheduled against Leicestershire, between June 24-28 and Ashwin is most likely to be unavailable for the same.
