IND vs ENG Day-3: Pujara-Pant not out in second innings, 257 runs lead over England so far
IND vs ENG Day-3: The third day of the Edgbaston Test between India and England is over. By the end of the game, India scored 125 for three in 45 overs in their second innings.
Team India had scored 416 runs in their first innings and had bundled out England for 284 runs in the first innings and took a lead of 132 runs. In this sense, the lead in Team India’s second innings so far has been 257 runs.

IND vs ENG Day-3: Pujara’s half-century in the last over of the third day :-
Cheteshwar Pujara has batted well for India and scored a half-century in the last over of the third day. He scored the 33rd half-century of his Test career in 139 balls and returned unbeaten on the pavilion.
At the same time, Rishabh Pant is supporting him and is unbeaten on 30 runs in 46 balls. The unbeaten partnership of 50 runs in 91 balls between the two has been done so far.
Cheteshwar Pujara’s fifth half-century in England :-
Pujara scored his fifth fifty in England. At the same time, he has scored all these half-centuries in the second innings of India. Talk about this test, in the second innings, Shubman Gill was dismissed for four runs, Hanuma Vihari 11 runs and Virat Kohli scored 20 runs. James Anderson, Stuart Broad and Ben Stokes got one wicket each.
IND vs ENG: England’s first innings was reduced to 284 runs, Bairstov scored a century :-
Earlier, India had bundled out England for 284 runs in the first innings. On the third day, England started playing ahead of 84 runs for five wickets. Captain Ben Stokes then put on a 66-run partnership for the sixth wicket with Jonny Bairstow.
Stokes was dismissed after scoring 25 runs. Bairstow then put on a 91-run partnership for the seventh wicket with Sam Billings. Meanwhile, Bairstow scored the 11th century of his Test career.
This was his third consecutive century in Tests. Bairstow was caught by Mohammad Shami at the hands of Virat Kohli.
Mohammad Siraj took the maximum four wickets in the first innings :-
Bairstow could score 106 runs. Siraj then wrapped up England’s innings by sending Billings, Stuart Broad and Matty Potts to the pavilion. Anderson remained unbeaten on six runs. Siraj took the maximum four wickets for India. At the same time, Bumrah took three and Shami took two wickets. Shardul Thakur gets a wicket.
IND vs ENG: Poor start of England team chasing 416 runs :-
Chasing 416 runs, England’s team started poorly. Indian captain Jasprit Bumrah gave England the first three blows. He sent Alex Lees (6), Jack Crowley (9) and Ollie Pope (10) to the pavilion. Joe Root then shared a 34-run partnership with Jonny Bairstow.

He was caught by Mohammad Shami at the hands of wicketkeeper Pant. On the second day, Bairstow 12 runs and captain Stokes returned unbeaten without opening an account.
IND vs ENG: India batted well in the first innings :-
India’s first innings reduced to 416 runs. James Anderson ended the Indian innings by dismissing Mohammad Siraj. Siraj scored two runs in six balls. Stuart Broad caught him off Anderson’s ball.
At the same time, captain Jasprit Bumrah played an unbeaten innings of 31 runs in 16 balls. James Anderson took the highest five-wicket haul for England.
Pant and Jadeja took over India :-
Batting first after losing the toss, India started with nothing special. The team’s first wicket fell on the score of 27. Gill dismissed after scoring 17 runs. After this Pujara also got out after scoring 13 runs. Hanuma Vihari got out on 20 and Virat Kohli scored 11 runs.
India’s five wickets fell for 98 runs. After this, Pant handled Team India with a 222-run partnership with Jadeja. He played an innings of 146 runs. At the same time, Jadeja scored 104 runs.
In the end, Jasprit Bumrah scored 31 runs in 16 balls to take India’s score to 416. James Anderson took the highest five-wicket haul for England. At the same time, Matty Potts took two wickets. Stuart Broad, Ben Stokes and Joe Root got one success each.
