But Rohit Sharma on Kapil Dev has decided to stand by Kohli in his most difficult times. Rohit has dismissed Kapil Dev’s comments on replacing Kohli in the Indian T20 (IND vs ENG 2nd T20) team.

Rohit said that Kapil Dev is watching the game from the outside and he does not know what is happening inside.

Referring to Kapil Dev’s statement, he said:-

We build our team and there is a lot of thought behind it. Rohit support boys and give them opportunities.

So you do not know these things from the outside. So, whatever is happening outside is not important, but what is happening inside is more important to us.”

“Everyone goes through ups and downs when it comes to forming. The quality of the player is not affected. So we should keep these things in mind.

His Past Performances should not be overlooked:-

When a player is doing well for so many years, one or two bad series doesn’t make him a bad player. We should not ignore his past performances.
