The competition will be held from October 14 instead of 15

The match between India and Pakistan will now be played on October 14 instead of October 15. A news agency has stamped this news.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has also agreed to change the date. It is being told that the date of the match has been changed keeping Navratri in mind. This match will be played on October 14 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The Date Changed Due To Security Reasons:-

India Pakistan match date has been changed due to security reasons. Security agencies had expressed concern over the fact that the first match between the two teams is to be played on October 15, when the first day of Navratri begins.

In such a situation, it will be difficult to prepare adequate security. Due to this, it was advised to change the date of the match. ICC relaxed and BCCI contacted PCB.

After this, both boards agreed to change the date of the match. Now this match will be played a day earlier.

The ODI World Cup starts on October 5. The final match of the tournament will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

India will start their campaign against Australia on 8 October. The first match between the two teams will be played in Chennai.

The Pakistan World Cup Schedule 2023:

  • 6 October – vs Netherlands, Hyderabad.
  • 10 October – vs Sri Lanka, Hyderabad. (rescheduled)
  • 14 October – vs India, Ahmedabad. (rescheduled)
  • 20 October – vs Australia in Bengaluru.
  • 23 October – vs Afghanistan, Chennai.
  • 27 October – vs South Africa, Chennai.
  • 31 October – vs Bangladesh, Kolkata.
