IND vs SA 2022: The BCCI included Mohammad Siraj in the T20 squad against South Africa in Replace of injured Jasprit Bumrah.
Bumrah Ruled Out Of The T20 Series:-
Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the T20 World Cup and the ongoing T20 series against South Africa (IND vs SA) due to injury.

Now in his place, the BCCI has included Mohammad Siraj in the squad against South Africa.
Bumrah has suffered a back injury and is currently under the supervision of the BCCI medical team. The BCCI has informed this through an official press release.
Jasprit Bumrah had to sit out of the Asia Cup due to injury. After this, he made a comeback in the three-match T20 series played against Australia.

But here he could play only two matches. After which the BCCI medical team found him unable to take the field for the matches for the South Africa series.
Bumrah is the second senior Indian player after Ravindra Jadeja to miss the World Cup. Jadeja is recovering from a knee operation.
The Indian team is not looking very good at the moment and in such a situation, with Bumrah’s injury, the problems of captain Rohit Sharma and coach Rahul Dravid will increase.
A BCCI official told PTI, “Bumrah and Jadeja’s exit is a big blow for India. We didn’t think this would happen.
He was rested for the Asia Cup to manage the workload. Right now the question remains whether he was fully fit to play in the Australian series or not.
