This is How Prasidh Krishna Got Injured:-

The 27-year-old fast bowler, who played in the recent Test series against South Africa, suffered a left quadriceps injury while bowling for Karnataka against Gujarat.

Due to this, he was not selected in the team for the first two test matches between India and England. Quadriceps injuries, a common blow for fast bowlers, usually take 4-6 weeks to heal.

This means that Prasidh Krishna is also unlikely to play in the third Test against England until his recovery is proper.
