IND vs SA T20s: Coach Rahul Dravid will be with Team India for the South Africa series, and will leave for England on June 20. Before the upcoming South Africa series, news of relief has come out for Team India.

A Decided to be with the team for the SA T20 series:-

Team India’s head coach Rahul Dravid has decided to be with the team for the entire South Africa T20 series.

While the BCCI wanted VVS Laxman to take charge for South Africa and Ireland series, Dravid left for England with the team on June 16. But now Dravid will leave for England on June 20.

IND vs SA T20s: A senior BCCI official told InsideSport, “Rahul Dravid will be available for the entire series. He insisted on being with the team for the entire series and not leaving before the last match.

The South Africa series is important as it will help them with the team combination. He will join the team in England before practice.”

IND vs SA T20s: Most of the senior players including captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, and Mohammed Shami have been rested from the South Africa series.

With injuries to Suryakumar Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, and Deepak Chahar, there are some injury concerns in the team.

This is the reason why Rahul Dravid wants to be present with the team during the South Africa series. His presence will also help KL Rahul, who shares a good relationship with Dravid.

VVS takes charge of the team for two T20 series:-

The BCCI official said, “The initial idea was that Rahul should be available for the England series and VVS would lead the team for the two T20 series. But Rahul Dravid refused it.

The BCCI official said, “Yes VVS will be with the team in Ireland along with the NCA coaching staff. He will team up with Rahul for the first Test in Birmingham.”

IND vs SA T20s: As far as the squad for Ireland is concerned, the BCCI will announce the squad after the completion of the South Africa series. Rahul Tewatia, Rahul Tripathi, and Sanju Samson can be called for the Ireland series.
