IND vs SL 1st Test: Jeffrey Vandersay was injured, likely to be out of Mohali Test, before the first Test match against Sri Lanka in Mohali, bad news has come out from Sri Lanka.

The Leg Spinner Jeffrey Vandersay:-

Sri Lanka’s 32-year-old leg-spinner Jeffrey Vandersay has been injured ahead of the first Test against India, due to which his play in the Mohali Test now looks doubtful.

He (Jeffrey Vandersay Injury) had to leave the game midway due to injury in the third T20I against India in Dharamsala, his over was completed by Chamika Karunaratne.

IND vs SL 1st Test: Earlier the team management was considering sending him back to Sri Lanka but then he was agreeing to stay in India. The team had a full training session before the Test match on Wednesday morning.

The Attended Some Training Sessions:-

While Vandersay has attended some training sessions, the team management has made it clear that it will not be possible for him to play (Jeffrey Vandersay Injury) at least for the first Test.

IND vs SL 1st Test: The Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) convention informed that, at the request of some players, Under-19 coach Avishka Gunawardene will be retaining for the Test as well.

The convention said, “Avishka Gunawardene was supposing to return to Sri Lanka on Tuesday night with T20 players like Captain Dasun Shanaka, Danushka Gunathilaka, Kamil Mishra, Zenith Lianage, and Shiran Fernando, but now we have asked her to stay with the Test team.”
