IND vs WI, Rohit Sharma : India thrashed West Indies by 7 wickets in the third match of the three-match T20I series on Tuesday, thanks to Suryakumar’s scintillating innings. India had to face defeat by 5 wickets in the second match.

Sharma has broken Virat Kohli ‘s record of hitting most sixes in the shortest format of cricket as a captain. Rohit achieved this feat during the third match of India vs West Indies. Before this match, Rohit and Kohli had 59-59 sixes in their account.

But Rohit took this record by hitting a six in the third match. In the second over of the innings in the third T20I, Rohit Sharma hit a six off Alzarri Joseph. On the fourth ball of the same over, Rohit returned to the pavilion after scoring 11 runs due to back spasm.

Team India, playing the second consecutive match within 24 hours, won the toss and decided to bowl first. Despite getting a good start, the West Indies team could only manage 164 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs. Brandon King and Meyers shared 57 runs in 44 balls for the first wicket.
