IND vs WI ODI Series 2023: West Indies announced ODI team against India. After the second Test match of the Test series between India and West Indies was drawn due to rain, the Indian team won the Test series 1-0.

Now both the teams will face each other in the three-match ODI series in Barbados from 27th July.

The Indian ODI team was announced in advance, while the West Indies announced the team for the ODI series after the completion of the Test series.
The 15-member West Indies squad will be led by Shai Hopp, who will also keep wicket with Nicholas Pooran unavailable.
Pooran, who is currently playing in Major League Cricket for MI New York, will be unavailable for the three ODIs along with all-rounder Jason Holder.
Hetmyer will be playing his first ODI in two years:-
Left-handed Shimron Hetmyer, on the other hand, will be playing his first ODI in two years, returning to the national side for the first time since missing out on the T20 World Cup.
CWI chief selector Desmond Haynes said, “Not only Hetmyer but fast bowler Oshane Thomas has also been called back.
Speaking of their return, we welcome Oshane and Shimron back to the fold. Both have played at international level with some success in the past and we are confident they will fit in well in the set-up.”
Three players, including fast bowler Jaden Seales, leg-spinner Yannick Kariya and left-arm spinner Gudakesh Moti, have recovered from their respective injuries and have returned to the West Indies squad for the three-match series.
