IND vs WI: The three-match ODI series between India and West Indies is going to start with the first match being played at the Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain Stadium in Trinidad.

Shikhar Dhawan will be seen leading the team in the absence of senior players. In view of the T20 World Cup, the selectors have decided to rest senior players like Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Virat Kohli, Mohammed Shami and Rishabh Pant.

IND vs WI: India has not lost a single series against West Indies since 2007. In the last 15 years, Team India has beaten the Windies 11 times. India is on top with Pakistan in terms of most series defeats by any one team in at least three match series.
Pakistan has defeated Zimbabwe in 11 consecutive series from 1996 to 2020. If Team India wins this three match ODI series then it will be a world record.

India has won 9 out of 11 matches played so far at the Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain Stadium in Trinidad. If India manages to beat the Windies in the first ODI at this ground, it will become the team with the highest win/loss ratio at a ground.
Till now Team India is at par with Afghanistan, whose win/loss ratio in Harare is equal to India’s 4.50. Apart from Port of Spain, India also has a similar proportion in Harare.
