A former cricketer arrived to meet the team on Tuesday during practice in Barbados. When he played, West Indies were at their best, defeating them was the dream of other teams.

We are talking about Garfield Sobers, who was the best in bowling, batting, and fielding. He is counted among the top all-rounders. The team was very happy to see him, and Virat Kohli was also very happy to meet him.

Sir Garfield Richards was born on 28 July 1936. He played cricket for the West Indies cricket team from 1954 to 1974.

He was born in Barbados, where he currently lives with his family. Sobers was a brilliant bowler, an aggressive batsman, and a brilliant fielder.

At that time Test cricket was mostly played, he played only ODI matches for West Indies. Sobers played 93 international Test matches, scoring 8032 runs and taking 235 wickets.

IND vs WI Test first test from July 12:-

The Indian cricket team will play the first 2-match Test series on the West Indies tour. After this, a 3-match ODI series and lastly 5-match T20 series will be played.

BCCI is yet to announce the T20 squad. India is looking strong while West Indies are going through their worst phase right now.
