IND-W vs SA-W: South Africa Beat Indian Team by 3 Wickets, In the ICC Women’s World Cup 2022, India is competing with South Africa (India vs South Africa) on Sunday.

Do Or Die Match For India:-

South Africa has already reached the semi-finals whereas it is a do-or-die match for India.

Batting first, India set a target of 275 runs for South Africa to win. If India survives this objective, it will reach the semi-finals.

South African innings – 275/7:-

South Africa got off to a bad start and the first blow was taken by the team for 14 runs. Lizelle Lee was dismissed after scoring 6 runs, but after this Laura Walward (80) and Lara Goodall (49) batted brilliantly.

Added 125 runs for the second wicket. Mignon scored 52 runs. Marijne Kapp played an important inning of 32 runs in the final moments. The match went till the last over, in which South Africa needed 7 runs to win.

The last over was very exciting, and the batsman got out on the fifth ball but Deepti Sharma’s ball was declared a no-ball by the umpire and it was included in one of the reasons for losing the match.

South Africa won the match by 3 wickets. Rajeshwari Gaikwad and Harmanpreet Kaur took 2 wickets each for India.

Indian innings – 274/7:-

Indian captain Mithali Raj won the toss and decided to bat first. The captain’s determination was proved right by the opening pair Smriti Mandhana and Shefali Verma.

Both put on an excellent partnership of 91 runs for the first wicket. Smriti Mandhana scored 71 and Shefali Verma scored 53 runs.

Yastika Bhatia, who came after this, got out after scoring 2 runs, but captain Mithali Raj and Harmanpreet Kaur batted brilliantly.

Mithali Raj made 68 and Harmanpreet Kaur was dismissed after scoring 48 runs. Batting first, India scored 274 runs in the allotted 20 overs for the loss of 7 wickets.
