India got the support of Sri Lanka and Bangladesh for Asia Cup 2023. There is still a tussle between the BCCI and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) over the hosting of the Asia Cup 2023.
PCB suggests hybrid model after BCCI refuses:-
At the same time, BCCI has said that the Indian cricket team will not go to Pakistan to play in the Asia Cup. On the other hand, on the refusal of BCCI, the PCB suggested a hybrid model but the Indian board did not agree to it.

At the same time, PCB has been given a big blow by Sri Lanka Cricket Board and Bangladesh Cricket Board. Let us tell you that both these countries have supported the BCCI on the issue of the Asia Cup.
Bangladesh and Sri Lanka Cricket Board extended support to BCCI:-
According to the Geo Sports report, the Bangladesh and Sri Lankan cricket boards have extended their support to the BCCI.
In the past, PCB chairman Nazar Sethi had suggested a hybrid model, but the support of the Sri Lanka Board and the Bangladesh Board to the BCCI is considered a major setback for the PCB.
Along with this, it has been further said in this report that, if the Asia Cup is not organized in Pakistan, then apart from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka can organize the tournament.
BCCI Rejects The Hybrid Model:-
Recently, Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Najam Sethi suggested a hybrid model. Under this model, the Asia Cup will be organized in Pakistan.

While the Indian team can play against itself in the United Arab Emirates or any other country. However, the BCCI rejected this model of PCB outright.
