India Tour of England: Sourav Ganguly and Jay Shah will witness the Birmingham Test, there will also be a discussion about getting more time from the ECB for IPL 2023.

The 5th Test against England rescheduled:-

Top officials of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) including Sourav Ganguly and Jay Shah will be present for the rescheduled 5th Test (ENG vs IND) against England.

While they will see Rohit Sharma & Co-create history, BCCI officials will also discuss the long meeting for IPL 2023 with ECB Managing Director Rob Key.

India has a chance to win a Test series in England after 15 years under Rohit Sharma and the top BCCI leadership wants to witness that stupendous achievement.

BCCI President for Birmingham Test:-

A BCCI official said, “Yes, arrangements have been made. The BCCI President, Secretary, and Vice President will all travel to England for the Birmingham Test. They will arrive on June 30, a day before the Test.”

BCCI is also considering getting more time for IPL 2023 and also for women’s IPL. While BCCI has already held talks with other boards on the WIPL window, BCCI wants more time support for IPL 2023.

More time for IPL will be part of the discussion:-

A BCCI official said, “More time for IPL will be part of the discussion but it is not the only one.

The ECB has been very supportive of the BCCI in the past especially with respect to the Women’s IPL and the IPL and we will have a lot to talk about.”
