Indian Fast Bowler Deepak Chahar May Be Out Of South Africa Tour

IND vs SA T20 Series 2023: Deepak Chahar may be out of the South Africa tour and said, “Will not go anywhere until…” Chahar may be out of the T20 series to be played on the South Africa tour.

It May Take A Few Days To Recover Completely:-

He is currently with his father, who suffered a brain stroke a few days ago. His condition is fine now but it may take a few days to recover completely.

Chahar himself has given information about his father’s condition and made it clear that he will not go anywhere until his father gets well.

Deepak Chahar was playing in the T20 series against Australia but suddenly returned home. Chahar did not play the fifth T20 match, after which it came to light that his father’s health suddenly deteriorated after which Chahar returned home.

It is Difficult For Chahar To Play in This Series:-

Chahar is involved in the 3-match T20 series against South Africa starting from December 10, for which the first team has left. It is difficult for Chahar to play in this series.

Speaking to Sports Tak, Chahar said that his father’s condition is improving. He said that I had told coach Rahul Dravid and the selectors that till his father recovers, he will stay with him.

Chahar said, “We took him to the hospital on time otherwise the situation could have been dangerous. His condition is better now.

I Can’t Leave Them in This Condition:-

People were asking why I did not play the last T20 match against Australia. For me, my father is very important. He is the one who made me a cricketer. I can’t leave them in this condition.”

Chahar further said, “So I am staying with my father and once he is out of danger, I will start the South Africa tour. I have spoken to Rahul Dravid sir and the selectors. Right now, my father’s condition is better.”

On which date is he thinking of joining Team India? On this Chahar said, “All this will depend on my father’s health. Right now I can’t leave them and go anywhere.”
