He Scored 43 Runs in The First Innings Against Vidarbha:-

Cheteshwar Pujara has made a big record in first-class cricket. Pujara is in excellent form in the current Ranji Trophy. He scored 43 runs in the first innings against Vidarbha.

Whereas in the second innings, he was out after scoring 66 runs. He completed his 20 thousand first-class runs during this inning of 66 runs. With this, he became the fourth Indian player to do so.

Cheteshwar Pujara has not got a place in Team India since the World Test Championship final. He did not get a place in the West Indies and South Africa series. He is not part of the team even for the first two Tests against England.

But during this time in the Ranji Trophy, Pujara scored a double century against Jharkhand, and then he scored a half-century against Vidarbha and achieved a big record.

He is the fourth Indian batsman to complete 20 thousand runs in first-class cricket. Before him, Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar, and Rahul Dravid had done this.

Pujara has scored 7195 runs in 176 innings while playing 103 matches in his Test career. He has 19 centuries and 35 half-centuries in his name in Test cricket. His best score has been 206 runs not out.

He made headlines when he scored an unbeaten 243 runs against Jharkhand in the ongoing Ranji Trophy. Now it has to be seen whether his current performance in Ranji can make him return to Team India.
