India’s Star All-Rounder Deepti Sharma Made A Huge Leap in ICC T20I Rankings

India’s star all-rounder Deepti Sharma has made a quantum leap in the ICC T20I rankings. Sharma became the joint second-best bowler in the world while Renuka Singh broke into the top 10 in the latest ICC Women’s T20 rankings released on Tuesday. England’s spinner Sophie Ecclestone remains at number one.

South Africa’s Nonkululeko Mlaba Had To Slide Down:-

Deepti, who is tied for second place along with Pakistan’s Sadia Iqbal, saw a drop in her ranking, mainly due to South Africa’s Nonkululeko Mlaba slipping down.

As far as the all-rounder rankings are concerned, Deepti continues to hold on to her fourth position, with West Indies’ Hayley Matthews at the top.

India’s Vice-Captain Smriti Mandhana is In Fourth Place:-

Talking about the ranking of women batsmen, India’s vice-captain Smriti Mandhana is in fourth place. While Jemimah Rodrigues is in the 13th position.

Australia’s Beth Mooney overtook her teammate Tahila McGrath to become the best batsman in T20.

Despite winning two test matches against England and Australia, Team India lost both the limited-overs series. India lost the ODI match against England 1-2, while the home team lost the T20 match against Australia by the same margin, raising many questions.

Pakistan’s Sadia Iqbal is in Second Place Along With Deepti:-

South African spinner Nonkululeko Mlaba slipped three places from second to fifth. Along with Deepti, Pakistan’s Sadia Iqbal is in second place, while England’s Sarah Glenn is in fourth place. England spinner Sophie Eccleston remains at the top.

There is no change in the top ten in the list of all-rounders. In this, Deepti remains in fourth place. Among the batsmen, Indian vice-captain Smriti Mandhana is in fourth place, Jemimah Rodrigues is in 13th, Shefali Verma is in 16th and Harmanpreet Kaur is in 17th. Australia’s Beth Mooney is on top while her compatriot Tahlia McGrath is in second place.
