INDW vs AUSW T20s: Indian Women’s Team To Host Australia For T20 Series in December

INDW vs AUSW T20s: The Indian women’s team is set to host World Champions Australia for a five-match T20I series in December later this year.

Men’s and women’s schedules for the season:-

The date and venue of the series, which was announced by Cricket Australia on Monday as part of its men’s and women’s schedule for the season, is unconfirmed.

The Indian women’s team, which last appeared in the ODI World Cup in March, will next participate in the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham in July.

She will then take on hosts England in September in a white-ball series consisting of three ODIs and as many T20Is.

“It’s the start of an exciting eight months for the team that includes a tour of India ahead of the T20 World Cup, a home series against Pakistan, the opportunity to play in the Hundred, and our own extended domestic season,” said Cricket Australia CEO Nick Hockley he said.

Three-match T20I series in September:-

In addition, the Australian men’s team will also tour India in September for a three-match T20I series as reported earlier.

This series will serve as a preparation for the T20 World Cup to be held Down Under from 17 October to 14 November this year.

However, the exact dates are also yet to be finalising. However, it is expecting during the latter half of September as Australia is scheduling to host New Zealand for an ODI series from 6 to 11.

INDW vs AUSW T20s: Both the Australian men’s side and the women’s team are the current T20 champions. While Aaron Finch & Co won the title last year.

Their target will be to defend their crown at home. Their female counterparts will be crowning champions in 2020 after beating India in the final.

A full series including three ODIs and three T20Is:-

The Australian men’s team was slating to travel to India later this year for a full series including four Tests, three ODIs, and three T20Is.

INDW vs AUSW T20s: But with the T20 World Cup being pushing back due to COVID-19, now the red-ball games will be staged in February and March next year.

The Indian men’s team’s next assignment is a five-match T20I series against South Africa from June 9-19, followed by a tour of Ireland for two T20Is.

The Rohit Sharma-led side takes on England in the rescheduling fifth and final Test. Which was postponing due to the COVID-19 outbreak, in the Indian camp on July 1 last year.
