INDW vs WIW World Cup 2022: Jhulan Goswami Sets World Record With India’s 155-Run Win, the competition between India Women and West Indies Women’s cricket team is being played in the Women’s World Cup on Saturday.

A Decided To Bat First:-

Mithali Raj and Stephanie Taylor are face to face as captains. Mithali Raj won the toss and decided to bat first.

Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti Mandhana completed their centuries, giving West Indies a target of 318 runs to win.

The entire West Indies team was bundled out for 162 runs. India won this competition by 155 runs.

A 100 Runs Partnership For The Wicket:-

If West Indies put on 100 runs for the first wicket, it seemed that West Indies would reach the objective, but no one had thought that such a situation would happen. West Indies, who did not lose wickets for 100 runs, were reduced to 162 runs.

Sneh Rana took the most wickets for India, he took a total of 3 wickets including both the opener batsmen. Meghna Singh took 2 wickets.

Jhulan Goswami took her 1 but historic wicket, with this wicket she became the highest wicket-taker in the World Cup. India won this match by a huge margin of 155 runs.

The Indian Innings

Indian captain Mithali Raj won the toss and decided to bat first. Yastika Bhatia and Smriti Mandhana put on 49 runs for the first wicket. Bhatia was dismissed for 31 runs in 21 balls.

After this India suffered two setbacks. Captain Mithali Raj was dismissing for 5 runs. And Deepti Sharma returned to the pavilion after scoring 15 runs.

After three wickets for 78, the Indian innings once again looked under pressure, but Smriti Mandhana played a fine inning with Harmanpreet Kaur.

Together they shared a partnership of 184 runs, and both scored centuries. Smriti Mandhana scored 123 runs and Harmanpreet Kaur scored 109 runs.

For the first time in World Cup history, the Indian women’s cricket team crossed the 300-run mark. India had set a target of 318 runs to win against West Indies.
