It has been a frustrating and upsetting period for Jofra Arche- Rob

ā€œIt has been a frustrating and upsetting period for Jofra Archer,ā€ Rob Key, managing director for England menā€™s cricket, said. ā€œHe was making good progress until a recurrence of the elbow injury, which kept him out for an extended period previously.

ā€œIā€™m sure we will see Jofra back to his best and winning games for England, whatever the format. Hopefully, sooner rather than later.ā€

As for Bairstow, who was out with a freak golf injury last September. Ben Foakes has been dropped to accommodate the wicket-keeper for the Ashes warm-up.
